Hall Effect from Skew Scattering by Magnetic Impurities
Chapter
Abstract
The concept of skew scattering was introduced in 1958 by Smit1 to explain the extraordinary Hall effect of the ferromagnetic metals. Studies of the skew scattering in dilute magnetic alloys were developped during the last ten years and have been very useful to understand its origins and mechanisms.
