Abstract

This report summarizes results for the applications working group at the 1977 Nato Conference on Mental Workload. It emphasizes the applied problem, needs and methods as agreed upon by applied specialists representing an unusual breadth and depth of scope. Typical questions from applications and concepts that are used to approach applied problems are summarized by members of the applied group. These summaries provide a broadly based reference framework for applied needs relative to theoretical and modelling developments. Comments, experience and general observations from interaction with more basic researchers are summarized.
