Mathematical Differentiation of Three Separate Components of the Growth Curve

Abstract

Reference values for body measurements during growth are often given in tables based on mean and SD for given ages. From these values growth curves are constructed that can be used in clinical work. For a more detailed analysis interpolation must be performed. As this is not very practical and rather timeconsuming, work has been done to express growth in mathematical equations.
