Abstract

Available data in the medical literature is still insufficient to enable clear statements either on the relationships between infantile obesity and obesity in later life or on the effect of type of feed in early months on the development of subsequent obesity and of atherosclerosis (Sveger et al., 1973; Charney et al., 1976, Neyzi et al., 1976, Poskitt and Cole, 1977).
