The ħ → 0 Limit of QED

Covariant perturbation theory solutions of quantum electrodynamics indicate that charged particles interact through the Feynman photon propagator, DF. The difficulty of establishing the classical-correspondence limit for QED interactions exists because these DF propagators propagate interactions into the past and future; these interactions have no obvious connection with the classical physics of particles interacting via retarded Lienard-Wiechert potentials.
