Missile propellant loading accuracy, and therefore outage, is affected by the accuracy to which a cryogenic liquid density can be determined during propellant loading. This paper describes an experimental method used to determine the density of a cryogenic liquid and is applied to the density determination of liquid oxygen as used in the missile industry.
