Abstract

Accompanying the rapid expansion of low-temperature processing and technology has been a corresponding increase in the need for accurate measurement of low-temperature properties of the materials involved. Often the desired accuracy is attainable only if the temperature of the system whose properties are being measured is controlled to within a few thousandths of a degree over a considerable range of temperatures.
