The choice of metallic materials, which are resistant to the action of molten salts, in particular molten chlorides, is a decisive factor in the solution of a number of problems confronting modern technology. These problems include, for example, the production of heating elements, the mechanization and automation of the production processes of some nonferrous metals, and so forth.
