Relativistic Perturbation Theory for Atoms and Ions

Abstract

This report consists of two parts. In the first part (M.A.B.) a general formalism is developed for perturbation treatment of relativistic atomic systems. The second part (L.N.L.) is devoted to applications of the relativistic perturbation theory of Gell-Mann and Low for the study of multiply charged ions.
