Infectious diseases are encountered in every area of medical practice. This chapter will assist non-infectious disease clinicians to recognize and initiate treatment. HN disease should in general be managed by specialists and/or specialty clinics, but since HN patients are seen in a number of clinical settings it is worthwhile for all doctors to be acquainted with the spectrum of problems these individuals may have.
