Abstract

Ultrasonic spectroscopy is the study of ultrasonic waves resolved into their Fourier frequency components. Since many material properties manifest themselves as amplitude or phase changes in ultrasonic waves used to interrogate a specimen, ultrasonic spectroscopy has proven to be quite valuable.
