Integrating Computers as Explorers in Art Practice

Abstract

This article discusses the role of digital technology in drawing and communication and how it offers new ways to translate and transform. His approach is to use drawing as a gateway to exploring these possibilities and the notion of human–computer integration. The idea is to use the properties of computing machines to enable forms of expression that are unique to a human–machine environment where the human is the focus, but the expression is a composite of both human and machine, in this case a computing machine environment.
