The variety of intelligence tests currently available is befuddling. Along with newer comprehensive, individually administered tests, there are brief measures, nonverbal tests, group tests, and adaptations for various linguistic groups. Since this book clearly emphasizes comprehensive, individually administered measures, this chapter will focus on broad-based rather than screening nonverbal measures.
