Scheduling and optimisation in the Automobile Industry
This article sets out a scheduling spare parts arrival prototype realized in CHARME language for MCA (Maubeuge Construction Automobile).
We point out the approach feasibility relative to a flow-job scheduling problem solved in its real complexity (combinatorial aspects and heterogeneity of the constraints).
The use of CHARME lead us to write efficient programs in terms of constraints and data definition.
The real efficiency of the prototype got MCA to ask us a proposal for a final product.
