Abstract
The most important tenet of special education is the idea that all instruction is based on the individual needs of the learner. In the classroom, educators are tasked with practicing pedagogy that will provide additional supports and services to those students whose disability interferes with their academic, emotional, and social progress, as well as to those students whose needs cannot be met in the general education classroom.
