Abstract

This article presents the advances of a research focused on validating a Multilevel Military Leadership Model, which relates: leadership levels, levels of military strategy, personal and institutional competencies that leaders must develop, and the leadership styles of the Full Range Leadership Model (FRLM). The model applied in a first approximation to the Ecuadorian Armed Forces uses the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) to determine the predominance of each leadership style within each level of leadership, as well as its influence with variables of performance and satisfaction at work.
