Abstract

Graphene/matrix interface plays a dominant role in the mechanical properties of graphene composites. Based on the understanding of out-of-plane mechanical behaviors raised in previous chapters, the mechanical properties of graphene nanolayered composites are studied under two representative loads: out-of-plane shock and in-plane shear. The effects of graphene interfaces on the mechanical properties are studied, which is important for the design of graphene composites.
