General Description of Flight Safety Problems

  • Chapter
  • First Online:
Development of Navigation Technology for Flight Safety

Abstract

One of the most important problems that military and civil aviation faces is to ensure landings with a target level of safety in any weather conditions in any region of the globe. The solution to this problem depends primarily on the AC and aerodrome equipment with instrument landing systems.
