Abstract
This chapter explores the issues of marginalization and vulnerability in three rural areas of India. It argues that community mobilization and collectivization can be trusted as instruments to pull the vulnerable, marginalized, have-nots and unskilled labourers out of hardship and margin. The study reiterates the fact that appropriate development interventions and livelihood innovations can be devised to reduce marginalization in rural spaces.
