Abstract

Recurrence is a thorny problem in the treatment of craniopharyngioma. Recurrence is inevitable in patient with subtotal resection and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy, especially in children. It has been reported that the recurrence incidence was 10–30% in cases of total resection. Reoperation is the last option for recurrent craniopharyngioma.
