Women Professors

Abstract

This chapter is titled “Navigating Rush Hours” to acknowledge the many stories Women Professors (WPs) have shared about how they navigated the busyness and complexity of their lives and their progression of women up the academic ladder. In this final chapter, we reflect on provisions to support academic women’s career progression, propose future research directions and comment on the importance of university leaders in addressing the low proportion of women in the professoriate.
