Abstract
The basis for definite diagnosis of pulmonary aspergillosis is exposure to at least one risk factor, presenting one chief symptom or two associate symptoms plus one microbiological and/or histopathological evidence. The microbiological evidence should be based on exclusion of specimen contamination. The histopathological evidence is the golden standard for the diagnosis of pulmonary aspergillosis.
