Comparison of Factory Layout Based on Traditional SLP Method and Improved SLP Method

Abstract

Workshop layout design is a multi-objective and multi-constrained optimization problem. It is difficult to meet the current needs only by traditional SLP method. In this paper, the improved SLP method, which is a new solving method produced by the combination of the traditional SLP method with the genetic algorithm to solve the problem of workshop layout, will be applied to the optimization layout design of the finishing workshop in the RunYing gear factory in the city of PanZhihua.
