Abstract

Thus far, most aortic diagnostic imaging has relied on echocardiography; however, computed tomography (CT) has increasingly emerged as an efficient and essential modality, thanks to recent technological advances in CT systems and in workstation software. This chapter attempts to provide an overall comprehensive view of CT diagnosis and the framework of its effective application.
