Abstract

Recent developed information technology has had a great impact on our society and research activities. Finance is one of the areas which enjoy the fruits of information technology. This article discusses the influence of information technology on business and finance. One of the promising applications of information technology in finance is agent-based modeling. This article looks to offer an overview of the kind of research agent-based models are enabling.
