Abstract
In 2017, the innovation capability of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region ranks 20th in China, 1 place lower than 2016. As to the sub-indexes, knowledge creation ranks 10th; innovation performance ranks 17th; knowledge acquisition, enterprise innovation, and innovation environment rank 31st, 27th, and 28th; innovation performance ranks the same as the previous year; and the rankings of knowledge creation, knowledge acquisition, enterprise innovation, and innovation environment dropped 1, 4, 3, and 4 places, respectively, over the previous year (Table 24.1, Fig. 24.1).
