Abstract
From a theoretical perspective, it is difficult to see mono-threads having good lifting effects. Basically, as the concept of the fixing point is not clear and the theoretical basis for the creation of direction is thought to result from contraction of the subcutaneous fat tissues, the effect would be weak. The authors will talk about their thoughts more in detail later. In such case, there is some difference in effect, consistency, and duration of the procedures depending on the physicians. However, based on author’s experience, it is possible to make good outcomes when a sufficient number of threads are inserted using adequate methods. This technique has been used for a long time and is still being used widely.
