Abstract
Head and neck cancer (HNC) patients usually present with a wide range of symptoms which include those related to disease as such, toxicities of treatment or its long-term sequelae. Though some problems are common to all cancers, there are a number of issues which are unique to head and neck cancer patients which merit special consideration [1]. Dysphagia is the most common chronic side effect of chemoradiotherapy treatment for HNC [2]. This chapter aims to deal with the psychosocial and quality of life issues associated with dysphagia and the management strategies.
