Abstract
The dynamic remaining oil saturation in each oil-layer is based on the Oil–Water diphasic percolation theory. The equation can be obtained by using the dynamic monitoring data and analysis of regression. The dynamic parameters include the separated layer water cut, interstitial oil saturation, current water saturation, etc. The accuracy and feasibility of the research results have been verified by means of numerical reservoir simulation, carbon–oxygen-log results, and neutron-lifetime-log data. As the dynamic monitoring data reflect the current reservoir productivity objectively, the ROS can be the real-time dynamic data. The numerical value and distributing regulation of the ROS can be obtained whenever necessary. The field test has proved the accuracy of the methods in X oilfield. The calculated ROS can provide quantitative evidence for the dynamic adjustment and development program in oil field.
