Abstract

Obstetricians should be confident in the use of vacuum extraction and forceps to assist vaginal birth in order to provide the highest quality of care for delivery. Forceps delivery should be inherited of skills to the trainee, because it allows steady extraction of the fetus with a single traction. Prior to the exposure to actual patients, simulation training for forceps delivery must contribute mother and neonate safety without any complications.
