Abstract
Many endocrine disorders are recognised causes of hypertension (Fig. 31.1). In terms of perioperative management, such conditions fall into two groups:

Those in which hypertension is managed with a standard approach, as used for patients with non-endocrine hypertension.

2.
Those in which special interventions are required.
