Summary
Ox red cell membranes have been extracted with butanol. The presence of F, V, J, L, R′, S′, and T′ has been detected in the protein fraction but all activity for other blood group antigens was lost. Protein has been used for isoimmunization in cattle and produced high titre antibodies specific for the injected antigen.
