Abstract
The amount of medical equipment carried for treating casualties at the scene of an accident is to a large extent dependent on how involved the individual practitioner wishes to become. Nevertheless, a minimum and a maximum can be suggested, and selection of a point between these limits can be left as a matter of personal decision.
