Abstract
In the coatings industry, considerable research effort has been devoted to the development of a very broad range of coatings based on a great variety of vehicles or media of different chemical types. The chemical and physical composition of these coatings, their pigmentation, selection of solvents and rheology occupy much of the available skills and attention.
