Abstract
Kiso surveys of ultraviolet-excess objects have been carried out with the use of the 105cm Schmidt telescope, in which about 1.200 stellar (KUVs) and 1,100 galaxy (KUGs) images are catalogued from the (U,G,R) triple image plates. Follow-up observations in the optical, infrared, and radio wavelengths reveal the results below in relation to active galaxies:

(1)
a few percent of KUVs belong to quasars.

(2)
about 80 percent of KUGs possess conspicuous emission lines.

(3)
there are some Seyfert-like objects among KUGs.
