Abstract
We have determined the nuclear galaxy spectra of the members of wide groups (∼ 1 Mpc across) around bright Seyfert galaxies. We find a tight relation between the “activity classes” of the nuclei as defined from their emission line spectra and the distance from the central Seyfert galaxy. This relation is characterized by a critical radius.
