Samenvatting

Een kapster krijgt last van haar ringvinger. Steeds als zij haar vinger probeert te strekken, ontstaat een pijnlijke, klikkende sensatie. Dit fenomeen wordt ook wel trigger finger genoemd. Het hoofdstuk beschrijft de casus, de bevindingen bij het onderzoek, de anatomie, de oorzaken, de verschillende vormen van conservatieve therapie en ten slotte de operatie.
