Zusammenfassung
Frontobasale Verletzungen sind Brüche der vorderen Schädelbasis mit Beteiligung des Stirnbeines, der oberen Nasennebenhöhlen und nicht selten auch der Maxilla, Nase und der Jochbeine. Selbst bei intakter Haut handelt es sich dabei also immer um offene Frakturen, die häufig durch Durarisse und Hirnkontusionen weiter kompliziert sind.
