Zusammenfassung

Die kurative und prophylaktische Wirksamkeit der Antikoagulantien bei venös-thrombotischen Erkrankungen ist so vielfach erwiesen, daß sie kaum mehr in Zweifel gezogen werden kann. Bei den arteriellen Erkrankungen hingegen ist ihre Wirkung noch keineswegs gesichert und wird heute mehr denn je in Frage gestellt. Die Gründe für dieses unterschiedliche Verhalten sollen im folgenden analysiert werden.
