Zusammenfassung
Spezielle röntgenologische Untersuchungsverfahren gewinnen in der kardiologischen Diagnostik zunehmend an Bedeutung, da durch sie die Möglichkeit gegeben ist, Einblick in differenzierte Strukturen des Herzens zu gewinnen und bestimmte Funktionsabläufe zu beurteilen. Viele Fragestellungen in der präoperativen Diagnostik der Herzfehler lassen sich nur mit ihrer Hilfe beantworten. Anderseits darf nicht unberücksichtigt bleiben, daß bei verschiedenen Herzerkrankungen allein auf Grund der üblichen Röntgenbilder in Verbindung mit dem klinischen Befund eine sichere Diagnose gestellt werden kann.
