Zusammenfassung

Die moderne Medizin verfügt seit mehr als 10 Jahren über Verfahren, die eine erfolgreiche Wiederbelebung nach Herz- und Atemstillständen gestatten. Waren es anfangs nur einige Kardiologen und Anästhesisten, die diese Methoden beherrschten und mit steigendem Erfolg anwendeten, so werden heute nicht nur Ärzte, sondern auch Pflegepersonal und Laienhelfer schulmäßig in kardio-zirkulatorischer Wiederbelebung ausgebildet.
