Abstract

A first synthesis on the Silurian-Ordovician mineral deposits of Spain (uneconomic and economic deposits) is presented taking the most significant geological characteristics into account towards an understanding of the metallogenic processes.

The examination of features and genetic interpretations proposed by different authors lead to a synthetic table including: the stratigraphie, geographic and lithologie location of the minerals, the processes (plutonic, volcanic, metamorphic, tectonic, paleogeographic) which have controlled the formation of the deposits, the types of mineral deposits, and their paragenesis.

At the end of the study, tentative comparisons are made between a few Silurian-Ordovician ore deposits of Spain and France. This comparisons will serve as a starting point for a joint project.

Résumé

Une première synthèse sur les minéralisations siluro-ordoviciennes d’Espagne (indices ou gîtes) est présentée en tenant compte des caractéristiques géologiques les plus significatives à même d’éclairer les processus métallogéniques.

L’examen des faits et des interprétations génétiques proposées par divers auteurs conduit à un document synthétique où figurent: la localisation stratigraphique, géographique et lithologique des concentrations et indices; les processus (magmatisme, volcanisme, métamorphisme, tectonique, paléogéographie) qui ont contrôlé la formation des dépôts; les types de gisements et leurs paragenèses.

Au terme de l’étude, en guise d’introduction à un projet de travail en collaboration, de brefs rapprochements sont établis entre quelques minéralisations siluro-ordoviciennes d’Espagne et de France.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine erste Synthese der ordovizisch-silurischen Vererzung Spaniens gebracht, wobei die charakteristischen geologischen Merkmale zur Klärung der Metallogenese dargestellt werden.

Die Überprüfung der Beobachtungen und die genetischen Deutungsvorschläge verschiedener Autoren führen zu einer Zusammenfassung, die folgende Faktoren erfaßt: die stratigraphische, geographische und lithologische Stellung der Lagerstätten und der Vorkommen, die erzbildenden Vorgänge (Magmatismus, Vulkanismus, Tektonik, Paläogeographie); die Lagerstättentypen und die Paragenese.

Am Schluß wird als Einführung in ein Projekt gemeinsamer Arbeit eine Beziehung einiger silurisch-ordovizischer Lagerstätten Frankreichs und Spaniens angedeutet.
