Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden zwei der drei typischen Pathomechanismen von Dickdarmerkrankungen, das toxische Megakolon und die Dickdarmperforation, dargestellt, während der Dickdarmileus als dritte Hautursache in einem separaten Kapitel abgehandelt wird. Darüber hinaus werden die spezifischen Krankheitsbilder der chronisch entzündlichen Dickdarmerkrankungen, der Divertikulitis, der ischämischen Kolitis und der Dickdarmtumoren als Ursachen für das akute Abdomen im Bereich des Dickdarms systematisch betrachtet.
