Dieses Kapitel behandelt die dritte Aufgabe der 1. Runde im Bundeswettbewerb Mathematik 1981, ein Pflasterungsproblem, das sich mit einem Färbungstrick lösen lässt, und führt uns zu Überlegungen über Induktionsbeweise, Färbungsbeweise, den Unterschied zwischen Wettbewerbsaufgaben und Forschungsproblemen, und zu der Frage, warum wir uns (und anderen) immer wieder und immer noch etwas beweisen müssen.
