Zusammenfassung
Durch die hohe Anzahl von Geflüchteten in Deutschland erhalten die sehr selten gewordenen konnatalen Erkrankungen der TORCH-Gruppe neue Aktualität. Das Kapitel gibt einen kondensierten Überblick über diagnostische Möglichkeiten, Monitoring und Therapien während der Schwangerschaft, über peripartales Management und kurze Einblicke in die Prognose und Therapieansätze bei Neugeborenen. Der Fokus liegt auf den häufigsten und relevantesten Infektionen der Schwangerschaft und ihren Folgen für das Kind. Die aktualisierte Auflage beschreibt vor allem substanzielle Neuerungen des Managements bei Toxoplasmen, CMV und HIV.
