Abstract

As stated in Chap. 2, the goal of this study was to find means of achieving an adequate balance between the conflicting interests of producers and users of digitised versions of rare documents within the EU. In accordance with this goal, the study formulated a series of research questions. The answers provided to these questions through the research study are summarised below.
