Zusammenfassung
Die Technik schreitet unaufhaltsam voran und ist in manchen Bereichen schon lange nicht mehr von Magie zu unterscheiden. Während ich als Wissenschaftsreporter den Entwicklungen hinterherhechele, bieten sie mir in meiner humoristischen Rolle viele Angriffsmöglichkeiten. Da kann ich hinterfragen, ob der Fortschritt auch tatsächlich sinnvoll ist und ob er irgendjemandem außer den Investoren etwas bringt. Informationstechnologie und Weltraumforschung kommen in diesem Zusammenhang öfter zur Sprache, aber auch angebliche Verbesserungen an Alltagsgegenständen wie Socken und Schuhen. Quantenmechanik und das Perpetuum mobile dürfen natürlich auch nicht fehlen.
