Zusammenfassung
Störungen der Informationsverarbeitung im Kindes- und Jugendalter können einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die schulische und soziale Teilhabe haben. Als grundlegende Hirnfunktion, welche die Grundlage für höhere kognitive Prozesse und die schulische Leistungsfähigkeit darstellt, wäre ein Training zur Verbesserung und Steigerung der Informationsverarbeitung wünschenswert. Da es kaum validierte Studien zu der Wirksamkeit von speziellen Trainingsansätzen, z. B. PC-Trainings, gibt und auch nicht zum Transfer von Trainingseffekten auf Alltagsbedingungen, sollte der Fokus von Interventionen eher auf Kompensationsstrategien und integrativen Behandlungsansätzen liegen. Bei der Darstellung werden vor allem alltagsnahe und schulbasierte Strategien aufgezeigt, die sich im klinischen Alltag bewährt haben.
