Zusammenfassung

Diese Übersicht über Metapsychologie und Technik von Davanloos Intensiver Psychodynamischer Kurzzeittherapie („Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy“; „IS-TDP“) soll als theoretische Grundlage des Lehrbuchs dienen. Der Nutzen der Videoanalyse, die phänomenologische Diagnostik von Angst, Abwehr und verdrängten Gefühlen und die Zentraldynamische Sequenz sowie Fragen zur Weiterbildung werden dargelegt. Die Weiterentwicklung der IS-TDP in den letzten Jahren wird kurz skizziert. Die folgenden vier Kapitel behandeln spezifische Techniken der IS-TDP ausführlich: Druck, Herausforderung, Head-on-Collision sowie der Umgang mit der Übertragung, unterlegt von zahlreichen Fallbeispielen.
