Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden die Besonderheiten des zentralen und peripheren Nervensystems bezüglich der Wirkmechanismen von Arzneimitteln besprochen. In diesem Sinne beschäftigt sich dieser Abschnitt mit der Synthese und Degradation, der präsynaptischen vesikulären Speicherung sowie der Freisetzung und Wiederverwertung von Transmittern. Außerdem werden die schnelle postsynaptische Antwort im Rahmen der Neurotransmission und die langsame postsynaptische Antwort im Rahmen der Neuromodulation dargelegt.
